Face ID facial recognition:
Apple’s new iPhone X comes with facial recognition built into the device. The technology is designed to recognize a single face and not multiple people’s. It’s no longer possible to give the phone to multiple people by biometric means. Touch ID only allowed a single person to access the device, but Face ID recognizes the faces of all people, including people who aren’t white. But it’s not foolproof.
All-glass front:
Apple’s iPhone X will be the first iPhone without a bezel, allowing the screen to stretch across the entire front of the phone. Unlike previous models, it will cost $1,000, but that’s only a fraction of its overall price. Apple will also release the iPhone 8 Plus on September 22 for $799 and $899 respectively.
