Finally, Verizon iPhone users get a software update, but nothing really worth jumping over. The update to 4.2.7 fixes an issue with FaceTime freezing, and a connectivity problem with the iPad. It will break your jailbreak however, so do NOT update if you wish to retain your jailbreak.

At&t also gets an update, but again don’t roll out the red carpet. The latest update (4.3.2) will remove your jailbreak, and give you many “security fixes”. It is only for the GSM iPhone 4, the iPhone 3GS, iPad 2, iPad, iPod touch 3g & 4G. Only a week or so after a release of the untethered jailbreak for 4.3.1, one can only guess that Apple is playing damage control. The joke is apparently on them however, because there is already chatter about a tethered jailbreak for 4.3.2 – stay tuned!
