If you own an iPhone then you have access to free content by using applications such as TV.com or WatchESPN among others. You can watch popular media and pay nothing so long as you have a stable Internet connection.
The above applications work well, but if you have a jailbroken device there is a very useful application that allows you to watch specific free content – iSouthPark – and it claims to allow you to watch all 209 episodes of the cartoon on your iDevice.
After you have decided to download the application and launch it, you are prompted for a free registration to have access to the content. When you have completed the registration process, you are then connected to a large library of copyrighted content. So far it sounds similar to many similar applications.
When you tap the iSouthPark icon, you launch the mobile version of the website that hosts the media, and you can start browsing the South Park seasons and select the episodes you would like to watch.
iDB does not condone piracy in any form, but the question of morality is always there – and it is your decision to make. You can watch any episode you wish, but you cannot download it, no matter how hard you try. We shall see how long iSouthPark manages to remain on-line, as this kind of application has the habit of disappearing shortly after it has been launched. Day 1 and counting!
