Rumor has it that Apple is getting ready to launch a brand new app that will allow iPhone and iPad users to manage their Genius bar reservations, as well as pre-order the upcoming iPhone 4 from their current iPhone or iPod touch.

People that claim to have insider knowledge on the subject say the new app will show locations of the nearest Apple Stores, browse classes available at the stores, make Genius Bar appointments, and buy products directly from the stores using their current Apple product. This includes making a reservation for the next generation of iPhone, which is set to launch near the end of June 2010.

Months ago there were hints from Apple retail employees that Apple was working on a Concierge app for the iPhone and iPod touch that would allow users to manage their Apple Retail Genius bar appointments from their hand-held devices.

Word has it that the icon for the app will be blue in color and will have just an apple on it. Supposedly this app is going to coincide with the first of the new iPhone 4 pre-orders, so it looks like we should find out tomorrow.
