Have you ever had the need to take a picture of yourself with your
So, along comes a new company called “iSnapMe” with a self same-named product. Now the product is pretty simple and it is astounding that it hasn’t been thought of before. What is particularly amusing about this product is when I first saw it and pulled it out of the packaging I thought to myself “Gee…Now I have a cute little Pooper-Sccoper for my hamster cage”. Seriously guys, it really does look like a little scoop. But once you work past the comedic look of the iSnapMe, you begin to realize the function. The way iSnapMe works (as I said before), is by the use of mirrors. The iSnapMe uses angled mirrors to reflect light and thus images that the camera eye sees, back around to you when taking shots of yourself alone or with friends so you can actually use the touch screen to not only take the picture but actually see yourself. This is a major convenience for those of you in those party scenes where you and your friends want to capture those memorable moments, since in that drunken stupor you wont remember the morning after as to what you did last night, save for the proof of the shot (no, not alcohol) you took.
The iSnapMe, adheres to the back of your
Now women should find this item fairly easy to carry because they all carry a purse around that contains everything they own in them, save live animals. So considering this I can say this item is extremely portable for the ladies. For the guys? Not so much. But discussions with the owner of the Company have revealed that they are ever in development to tackle issues like these and a solution in the future will be coming down the pipeline.
iSnapme, retails for $19.95 (Free S&H) and is a great product to tackle an issue that is an

good idea, but i wait for the iPhone G4 comming soon.
Rumors of the G4 having a front facing camera is very thin and most likely not going to happen. What you’re waiting for and what actually is likely to come out might have a large disparity of time between them.
What you’re waiting for may be a long time in the coming.
Nice info dude….visit me back
You can’t just adhere a little mirror like regular cellphones onto your iphone? That would be more portable and cheaper.
You could, yes. But then again would it stay on? Would or could it snag on items of clothing or bags when pulling it in and out for use with the sharp corners of the class? Most of all, would you want something permanently affixed to your iPhone that would probably always look like you actually added it there and not have it look professional? Are these things I just mentioned worth that alleged easy solution of yours?
Just some food for thought.
Hahaha sounds like this hilty guy works for the company.
To be completely honest I doubt many women will want to attach a giant mirror to their iPhone for a picture out in public. And for guys… Forget it, I wouldn’t be caught dead with a side mirror attached to my phone.
I think it’s a good idea executed poorly. Maybe a smaller collapsable mirror would actually do well, but I highly doubt this will sell.
A single mirror also introduces the problem of everything in the photo appearing backwards.
This is as stupid as the iPhone tripod.
I guess hilty didn’t like my comment
if u think about it there is a little mirror on iphone… its the little apple logo on the back…
@ Colt:
I never saw your comment. As a result I can neither like or dislike it at this point.

I don’t work for any companies save but here at Pi. I receive, review and present items of interest to you the readers and that is all I do. I review but my review process is in fact harsh. Fair but harsh. Then I review and present in as even a tone as possible. But I do it with the most logical mind frame I can muster. I am no shill for any of these products, manufacturers.
