No sorry, still doesnt work. Black screen, then crashes. No settings?

Tried fixing directory permissions, as above, rebooted, but no joy

Hi to All,
in some iphone there are some problems on user dir permissions.

You can try to fix it using SBSettings or BossPrefs utility (installable by Cydia). By SBSetting or BossPrefs, press the button “More”, you can access to the menu “Extras” and then push the button “Fix Dir Permissions”. Exit to SBSettings.

Retry to run TalkMe and now should be work!!.

I also have installed & uninstalled & reinstalled. The icon is present the screen opens stays blank and returns to home screen. There is no configuration menu or settings anywhere.

So how does this work? I uninstalled and reinstalled it and finally got it working! When u open the app it goes to a list of sayings, is there anything u can do besides listen to them?

yea, i have a U.S. AT&T jailbroken 3g iphone and all it does is look like its gonna load, then it doesnt. and yea, i tried reinstalling it and such

Commenting on what Kelly said above? The app is a neat toy but that’s it. It is non functional unless booted and does not work automatically with SMS. more….If it did all these things, it would only really be useful if it did what it is missing, while driving.

What would be astoundingly useful IF it did what it does and everything else it does not that I just mentioned, would be SPEECH to TEXT…..NOW THAT would be a hot App.

I’m on 2.1 and I have it installed but unfortunately no clue how to use it. The text does appear and if you tap it – it does say it but it does not automatically work with SMS and if you have to tap it to hear it – it’s almost the same as just reading what someone has written.
