Austin, your problem may be related to the version of iPhone firmware you are using. This project only works on firmware 2.2… Their site disappeared around the date you’re mentioning due to a hacker attack… a scenario which appears to have repeated itself today, hours before a newer release of the software.

Whats the deal with the ibluetooth project? I went to the site and registered, had to wait for my balance transfer to paypal to donate to them and now the site is gone. I downloaded the app from Cydia and it turns off my bluetooth and crashes everytime I run it. This is sounding like a scam.

@jb Sadly, they have now turned the betas into donorware and that link would no longer work.

“Releasing sweetTooth to the general public is an issue that we haven’t discussed, so in the near future, sweetTooth is donor only!
We are not sure when everyone else will be able to get their hands on it, but don’t keep your hopes up too high.”

Finally! I have been waiting so long for this. All I have been wanting to do is stream my Pandora Station to my car’s radio (that unfortunately does not have an aux port) with reasonable sound quality while keeping my phone on the car charger.

@Carson, thats because its not the iPhone Dev Team. This should have been made clear in the post. It said, “The Dev-Team has made some large strides in the design of their new Bluetooth project, BlueSn0w.”. It should have said, “The Team, or BlueSnow Team has made some large strides in the design of their new Bluetooth project, BlueSn0w, or _______.

I’d love to be able to use my Bluetooth GPS with an iPHONE 1stGen. Wonder if that will ever happen!
