One of the most wanted products for Christmas was the iPhone 3G. Despite a weak global economy, holiday sales were only down 8% from previous years. If you received a shiny new iPhone, you may now be in the market for some accessories to accompany it. Here is a list of some of the hottest accessories around:

Jawbone 2 by Aliph

$85 @ MSGDigital.com

Despite its quirks, the Aliph Jawbone 2 is quite possibly the ultimate Bluetooth headset in terms of design and sound quality. Like the first Jawbone, the Aliph Jawbone 2 was designed by renowned industrial designer Yves Behar, and it shows. Instead of the perforated front of its predecessor, the Jawbone 2 has a beveled diamond pattern all along the front which results in a three-dimensional texture that glides smoothly under the fingers. The big difference from its predecessor, however, is its size. The Jawbone 2 is almost 50 percent smaller than the original, measuring 2 inches long by 0.5 inch wide by 0.5 inch thick and weighing 0.35 ounces.

Apple iPhone Bluetooth Headset

$99 @ Apple.com

The iPhone Bluetooth headset is a super stylish headset with a very easy pairing process made just for the iPhone, but it is lacking in some features plus it has a high price tag. Shaped like a skinny black stick, the iPhone Bluetooth headset measures close to 2 inches long, 0.5 inch wide, and about 0.6 inch thick if you count the earpiece (It’s about 0.125 inch thick without the earpiece). The headset is also remarkably light at less than an ounce, and its metal construction, glossy finish, and smooth, clean lines look more like art than a simple headset. It comes with its own iPhone dock and USB adapter.

Infinixx Bluetooth A2DP Adaptor

$62 @ Brando.com

The Infinixx A2DP is a tiny adapter that adds stereo Bluetooth capability to your iPhone, allowing you to stream music or other audio wirelessly to any device that supports A2DP.

Kensington Mini Battery Extender

$33 @ CostCentral.com

If your iPod or iPhone (both first and second generation) is low on battery life, you can simply pop on this battery extender from Kensington to extend its battery life by about double. It attaches to the iPod and iPhone via the dock connector. It also comes with a retractable USB charging cable so you can charge both the extender and the iPod/iPhone at the same time.

The Mophie Juice Pack

$99 @ Mophie.com

The Mophie Juice Pack for the iPhone 3G is an easy way to add additional battery life to your iPhone 3G. Like with the other Juice Packs, the Mophie Juice Pack for the iPhone 3G fits around the iPhone 3G like a case. In fact, it adds a substantial amount of bulk to the phone: about double the total thickness. You might not notice much of a difference if you’re used to your iPhone 3G being in a large case. Plus, if you already use some kind of case with your iPhone 3G, there’s no way that case can also fit the Juice Pack 3G.

iSkin Revo 2

$40 @ iSkin.com

The iSkin Revo2 is a silicone case that protects your iPhone 3G from everyday exposure to dust, moisture, and dirt. There Revo2 also provides two ways to protect the touch screen via a clear touch film and a visor. The iSkin Revo2 is available in four colors (Diablo, Sonic, Ozone, or Onyx).
