		<description>Elliot, it will be fine to get into DFU and restore on XP but then the phone will get Windows formatted and you can&#039;t sync a windows formatted device with Mac (not sure if you can sync or not). So, just think over it.</description>

Im sorry, im very confused. i really want to jailbreak my iphone but i dont want to interruppt with my Mac tomuch. i was thinkin of sortin it on my fathers old Windows XP laptop soon. is that fine to do even if my phone is formatted to Apple?</description>

		<description>I cant come across a USB Hub within the house &amp; i dont want to use the DFU fix. [mainly because ive heard it can damage my MacBook]

It works fine ottherwise and I have not had any issues ssh&#039;ing into it or working with other modded files. It just syncs itself if I open and close any app on the phone while it is connected.</description>
