The first finalized release, but the 3rd repack, of SBSettings was released today by BigBoss and relies on Toggle Pack 1.3.1.
This new release has a few new features and fixes:
- Brightness toggle.
- Supports themes, HUD and Tech Shadows installed by default.
- No longer launches at lock screen at all.
- Home button can be used to close the window.
The application launch dock that BigBoss and Ipodtouchmaster had previously been working on did not make the cut due to the fact that it has not reached a stable level as of yet. However BigBoss has stated that the feature will definitely be back in a future release. All other features are reported to be working without a hitch.

Oh my god. Nice post and I was just about to this. Well good job anyways and I love this application because I can change the brightness on any app and also turn off Wi-Fi, 3G, Edge, Bluetooth, etc.
SBSettings is a very cool app indeed!!!
Btw, what’s the name of the theme used in the first screenshot? Really like the icons I see in the dock below the SBS screen!
http://planet-iphones.com/forums/index.php?topic=6175.0 Theme is called Unreal. I am currently working on finishing it and it should be released soon. Thanks for the complement!
LOVE this app but the latest verison seems to longer be accessed from the lock screen.
hi i have a question i downloaded it but i don’t see it in my ip[hone can u tell me how to access it after downloading
Try tapping on the top bar where the time is… I actually found it by mistake and didn’t realize it was the way to access it..
Love this app by the way..
i want get the themes but dont know how to get it. so please help.i also cannot find sbsettings, so where to find it.
Quite a security issue…
Well, first, it’s a nice & neat piece of software.
However, there’s a security-issue:
When installed, SBSesstings will *always* start the ssh-demon: Even switching the toggle only disables the ssh-demon just for the current session; if you rebbot the iphone: Voilá – ssh’s there again!
Provided that it’s pretty likely that most users even haven’t changed their default root-passwd, one could see this as a really nasty bug.
Cheers
Gregor
@Gregor
It’s actually not a security issue at all but actually intentional and here’s why: http://thebigboss.org/2008/11/30/why-ssh-on-restart-is-required/
How do I get this app? looks awesome
Cydia
